How mysterious!</p>\n<h1>Changes in 21w08a</h1>\n<ul>\n<li>Tweaked cave sizes further</li>\n<li>Canyon and cave carvers now apply below y=0</li>\n<li>Cracks can now be found carved into the ground</li>\n<li>Grimstone has been changed into Deepslate</li>\n<li>Added Deepslate ores</li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https://launchercontent.mojang.com/v2/images/snapshot21w08aoredistribution.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">distribution of ores</a> has been further tweaked</li>\n<li>Andesite no longer generates under y=0</li>\n<li>Tuff now sometimes generates under y=0</li>\n<li>The Tuff layer of amethyst geodes has been replaced with now a new type of stone called Smooth Basalt</li>\n<li>Smooth basalt is now obtained from smelting basalt</li>\n<li>Another round of tweaking has been done to the new textures of ores and blackstone</li>\n<li>Emerald and Lapis Lazuli ore textures have had some touch ups</li>\n<li>Mineshafts now once again generate in the open air in caves</li>\n<li>Particles now appear in the air around spore blossoms</li>\n<li>Slime blocks and honey blocks have been moved to the redstone tab of the creative inventory</li>\n</ul>\n<p><img src=\"https://launchercontent.mojang.com/images/snapshot-21w08a-texture-comparison.jpg\" alt=\"Snapshot 21w08a texture comparison.\"></p>\n<h2>Deepslate</h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Grimstone is now called Deepslate</li>\n<li>Deepslate now has a top texture, and a new block called Cobbled Deepslate drops from Deepslate</li>\n<li>The cobbled variant is the same but without the top texture, and is used to craft all Deepslate variants instead</li>\n<li>Deepslate now has a unique set of sounds!
